A look back at the 2024 edition
The 2024 edition has been redesigned to offer an even more enriching reading experience, with a clear and concise understanding of the sector's major issues. This 8th edition marked the integration of risks and opportunities, as well as the introduction of the "Big Question", to stimulate long-term strategic thinking. To provide a forward-looking vision, we have also enriched the report with articles from experts, offering diverse perspectives.
We had the privilege of presenting this report at a number of leading industry events (Salon Connexion, Semaine NumériQC, SecTor...) as well as in a variety of formats (webinars, podcast series, blog posts, etc.). The positive feedback we've received is a real source of inspiration and motivation to pursue our mission: to provide companies with a strategic decision-making tool.
Here are some of the highlights highlighted in this 8th edition:
📌 40% of cyberthreats come from malicious internal resources
📌 Only 43% of companies involve their IT department in strategic decisions
📌 37% of companies that invest in cloud computing do so to reduce their hardware infrastructure costs
📌 52% of companies still use spreadsheet-based analysis tools to manage their data, even though more powerful automation solutions exist
📌 42% of companies want to invest in artificial intelligence and analytics, compared with 26% in 2023
So what does 2025 have in store for us?
