Sales Representative : Linux One

The LinuxONE sales representative manages all sales activities in a defined territory. He will be responsible for conducting new business in new accounts for LinuxONE. The candidate must be extremely results-oriented, client-oriented, technologically competent and able to build customer relationships from scratch with new customers.

With extensive expertise in managing new business territories, this person uses his or her skills to achieve objectives in a creative and effective manner. Our client is looking for a Sales Representative for LinuxOne .

In your job with us, you will be asked to work on the following:

  • The sales representative will be responsible for a specific geographic territory and will be responsible for developing a territory plan to define appropriate new business targets;
  • Use innovative and creative ways to access senior managers within identified accounts;
  • Leverage business partners, system integrators and independent software providers to create new creative solutions that meet customer needs;
  • Identify key decision-makers in the core accounts;
  • Approach new customers;
  • Focus on cold calling, profiling and customer identification using tools such as LinkedIn Premium;
  • Work effectively with business partners and sell jointly with them to effectively manage a territory;
  • Demonstrate expertise in cloud computing, x86 server architecture solutions and open source software;
  • Establish and lead ad hoc cross-functional teams and be seen as the overall lead for business engagement.

What we are looking for

  • Have a minimum of 3 years experience in selling ''quotas'' in the technology and organizational services sector selling distributed hardware and software solutions;
  • Ability to understand how technological products and solutions solve business problems, particularly Linux and Open Source technology;
  • Have experience in conducting business development and achieving strategic objectives by guiding customers through the sales cycle;
  • Have experience in the territory's strategies for creating and developing business growth opportunities, working in collaboration with internal sales representatives, customer engineers and IBM business partners;
  • Ability to communicate information verbally and in writing and to provide analysis to assist customers in making purchasing decisions;
  • Ability to intervene at all levels;

 Technical and professional experience:

  • Manage multiple opportunities simultaneously throughout the cycle, working with cross-functional teams if necessary, and serve as the primary customer contact for all LinuxONE related activities;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with business partners, independent software vendors, ISCs and MSPs;
  • Mastering the use of LinkedIn Premium to profile, identify and engage new customers is a requirement;
  • Proven discipline in pipeline and metric management;
  • Ability to accurately predict;
  • Explore and understand complex business and technical requirements.
