Storage and backup specialist

YOUR ROLE

In your job with us, you will be asked to work on the following:

Backup Component :

• Install, configure and maintain Commvault Veeam and TSM environments ;
• Develop backup architecture models;
• Propose Commvault backup solutions adapted to customer needs;
• Implement solutions;
• Act as a technical advisor in the pre-sales of backup solutions;
• Produce usage and performance analysis reports;
• Provide last level technical support to customers for their backup issues.
• Develop skills on other backup solutions as needed

Storage :

• Managing Storage Environments (NetApp, IBM or EMC);
• Implementing Storage Solutions;
• Storage Environment Architecture;
• Plan and implement required upgrades;
• Prepare hardware and/or software configurations for NOVIPRO representatives;
• Analyze and optimize storage performance;
• Sales and Customer Support;
• Prepare and participate in hardware component installation preparation meetings;
• Facilitate the implementation of hardware and software that NOVIPRO implements at our customers;
• Provide second and third level customer service to NOVIPRO users and customers;
• Writing of documentation;

You are the perfect candidate if you have:

• Five (5) years in IBM (SVC, V7000) NetApp and or EMC storage environments;
• Extensive knowledge of IBM Spectrum Protect and IBM Spectrum Protect plus
• Extensive knowledge of Commvault
• Knowledge of IBM Copy Data Manager
• Knowledge of Brocade switches
• Working knowledge of NAS systems (NFS, CIFS protocols)
• Working knowledge of TSM backup management tools
• Working knowledge of Unix, Linux, VMWare and Window operating systems

• Have problem solving skills
• Have a concern for the quality of results
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
• Bilingual French and English (spoken and written)
